34MnB5 Alloy Seamless Steel Tubes represent German DIN standard manganese-boron alloyed structural steel products engineered for high strength and excellent hardenability at competitive cost levels. These manganese-boron alloy tubes feature controlled carbon content of 0.30%-0.37% with manganese levels of 1.20%-1.50% and boron content of 0.0008%-0.0040%, delivering superior strength-to-cost ratio through manganese-boron composite strengthening that effectively replaces traditional chromium and chromium-molybdenum steels in many applications.

Through proper quenching and tempering processes, the mechanical properties can be significantly enhanced to achieve tensile strength of 800-1000MPa and hardness reaching HRC28-38, providing fatigue resistance comparable to 40Cr grade while maintaining cost advantages.

 

The enhanced processing characteristics include excellent hardenability through boron micro-alloying, suitable for through-hardening of medium cross-sectional components. Good machinability after annealing and strong response to heat treatment enable significant performance improvement after quenching and tempering processes. Welding requires preheating to 150-250°C with controlled cooling to prevent cold cracking.
